The prize pool is partially sponsored by MagicMonk. The 2 Giveaways are raffled in the beginning of round 5 and round 6 among all players that can no longer make the top 8 (2 or more losses).
Tournament Structure
The format will be Modern. The event will be held at competitive REL, meaning that decklists are required and a Judge will be present. We will play six Swiss rounds, followed by a cut to top 8 with single elimination. The top 8 will be played with open decklists. The tournament is not DCI sanctioned and proxies are not allowed.
Date & Location
The tournament will take place in Zürich Altstetten, Geerenweg 23a, 8048 Zürich on Sunday March 13th. The doors will open at 9:30, with round 1 starting at 10:00. We will have a 30 min lunch break after round 3. There are free parking spots available close by. Have a look at this map.
Update 02.03.: All COVID-19 restrictions concerning the event are lifted. Nevertheless, sufficient space between tables will be provided. The maximum capacity of the event is 60 people.
Registration & Fees
The entry fee will be 40.- per player. You must register online and please also pay online if possible. You will also need to register an account on AetherHub.com as we will be using that platform to announce pairings and match results.
To register for the event please do the following steps:
- Register an account on AetherHub (you can use your preexisting Facebook, Google or Twitch account for that). You can find the login button on the top right corner on Aetherhub.
- Pay the tournament fee here on Eventfrog.
- 48 hours before the event further information about uploading your decklist and using Aetherhub will be sent via email.
Foods & Drinks
Several snacks, cakes, as well as coffee and soft drinks will be sold on site. All earnings go towards financing the tournament.

In case you can’t show up, please email us as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we can’t refund cancellations less than 24h before the event. However, in case the event has to be cancel due to the pandemic all tickets will be refunded fully.

Der Prizepool wird von MagicMonk.ch mitfinanziert. Die beiden Giveaways werden zu Beginn der 5. und 6. Runde, unter den Spielern, die nicht mehr Top 8 machen können (2 oder mehr Niederlagen), verlost.
Turnierstruktur
Das Format ist Modern. Der Event ist im competitive REL, Decklisten sind obligatorisch und es ist ein Judge anwesend. Wir spielen 6 Swissrounds gefolgt von Top 8 mit Single Elimination. In der Top 8 wird mit offener Deckliste gespielt. Das Turnier ist nicht DCI sanktioniert. Proxies sind nicht erlaubt.
Wann & Wo
Das Turnier findet in Zürich Altstetten, Geerenweg 23a, 8048 Zürich am Sonntag 12. September statt. Die Türen öffnen um 9:30, wobei die erste Runde des Turniers um 10:00 beginnt. Es gibt eine 30 Minuten Mittagspause nach der 3. Runde. Es gibt gratis Parkplätze in der Nähe. Genauere Infos sind auf dieser Karte zu finden.
Update 02.03.: Alle Massnahmen betreffend COVID-19 wurden für den Event aufgehoben. Weiterhin wird für genügend Abstand zwischen den Tischen gesorgt. Die Teilnehmerzahl des Turniers ist auf 60 Personen beschränkt.
Anmeldung & Eintritt
Die Anmeldegebühr beträgt 40.- pro Person. Die Registrierung muss online erfolgen und auch die Bezahlung sollte falls möglich online über Eventfrog getätigt werden. Zusätzlich wird ein AetherHub.com account benötigt, da dort die Pairings bekanntgegeben werden und die Resultate eingetragen werden.
Für die Anmeldung sind folgende Schritte notwendig:
- Erstellen eines Accounts auf AetherHub (ein bisheriges Login auf Facebook, Google oder Twitch kann dafür verwendet werden).
- Anmeldegebühr bezahlen hier auf Eventfrog.
- 48 Stunden vor dem Event werden weitere Infos über das Hochladen der Deckliste und den Gebrauch von Aetherhub per E-Mail verschickt!
Verpflegung
Vor Ort werden diverse Snacks und Kuchen, sowie Softdrinks und Kaffee angeboten. Alle Einnahmen daraus fliessen ins Turnier.

Bitte achte darauf, dass du uns bei einer Abmeldung so früh wie möglich Bescheid gibst! Abmeldungen, die nicht 24 Stunden vor Turnierstart erfolgen, können leider nicht zurückerstattet werden. Falls der Event jedoch auf Grund der Pandemie abgesagt werden muss, werden alle Tickets vollständig rückerstattet.
